My Story.
My Mission!

Sue is the director of Choirs4Kids, a place that boosts children’s confidence and joy, through singing, whilst decreasing isolation, anxiety, fear and depression.

Everyone who joins our sessions, online or in-person, feels valued and CONNECTED with us through the positive energy that fills the room.

Through opportunities, encouragement and trust, students grow in CONFIDENCE and learn to persevere in order to achieve their best.

A safe place where young people learn to believe and trust in their own CREATIVITY gaining a freedom to explore their own unique voice.

A Little About Sue

Sue founded Choirs4Kids in 2016 after realising that many children, including her daughter, were either too young to join their school choir, or the school didn’t have a choir.

She has over twenty years of experience leading choirs and has a unique ability to instill a love of singing in everyone she meets!

In early 2020, Sue moved Choirs4Kids online, and in doing so is now reaching young people all over the world.

Sue excels in helping young people find their confidence through her focus on each individual. She helps them realise their vocal potential, giving them the power to believe in their own voice.

On a personal level Sue loves to perform in local theatre groups and adult choirs. She has a Bachelor of Education in Music and Sport, ABRSM examinations in Piano, Violin & Flute.

Sue is a Qualified Vocal Health First Aider, has completed Levels 1 & 2 in Estill Voice Training and is an Embodima graduate.  She is a registered teacher with a valid Working with Children Card and National Police Clearance.
