A Little About Sue
Sue founded Choirs4Kids in 2016 after realising that many children, including her daughter, were either too young to join their school choir or their school didn’t have a choir. With 25+ years experience leading choirs, Sue has a unique ability to instill a love of singing in everyone she meets.
In early 2020, Sue moved Choirs4Kids online, allowing her to reach young people all over the world. Her innovative approach has not only expanded the reach of her program but also adapted to the changing times, ensuring that children everywhere have the opportunity to experience the joy of singing.
Sue excels in helping young people find their confidence through her focus on each individual. By helping them realise their vocal potential, she empowers them to believe in their own voice.
This dedication to nurturing the whole child reflects our commitment to advocating for both children’s education and overall wellness. By ensuring that children grow in a supportive, caring environment, we foster their holistic well-being and academic success.
On a personal level Sue loves to perform in local theatre groups and adult choirs. She has a Bachelor of Education in Music and Sport, ABRSM examinations in Piano, Violin & Flute.
Sue is a Qualified Vocal Health First Aider, has completed Levels 1 & 2 in Estill Voice Training and is an Embodima graduate.
Recently, she has completed a number of courses about Neurodiversity in the Vocal Studio and Voice Change in Adolescents.
She is a registered teacher with a valid Working with Children Card and National Police Clearance.
